Meet Jamilah

Jamilah, originally from Orlando, is a dedicated professional with a degree in Psychology from Bethune Cookman University. Since 2018, she has been a DONA trained doula, extending her expertise as a traveling doula across the southeastern region. Currently residing in Tuscaloosa, AL, Jamiliah serves as the Lead Research Family Navigator at the University of Alabama, where her primary focus lies in exploring the manifold benefits of having a doula.

With a comprehensive skill set, Jamilah provides invaluable support as both a birth and postpartum doula, specializing in breastfeeding assistance. Her unwavering passion for maternal health stems from a profound commitment to ensuring no mother feels alone during the birthing process. Beyond her doula roles, she is also trained in neo-hearing screenings, further enriching her dedication to holistic and inclusive maternal care.
